The double room was stunning, it included a private safe, central heating and an iron. The bed was exceptionally comfortable; and there was a bath.

Room decor offers a charming rustic vibe, ideal for couples looking for a cozy getaway. Convenient access to nearby walking trails lets you escape into nature without much hassle.
The noise from wedding parties can disrupt a peaceful night's sleep, especially if you've got restful plans. My room got uncomfortably hot due to limited ventilation, as the windows didn't open wide enough. A fan helped, but it could have been more effective. Plus, the bar menu felt a bit lacking-while the battered fish was excellent, orders can get mismanaged, like having sauces mixed in unexpectedly. Breakfast timing left something to be desired, with dishes arriving late and not as requested, which can certainly be annoying when you're looking forward to a meal.

It was an amazing stay for a wedding. The location turned out to be unbeatable, right by the restaurant, the garden and wedding chapel and a taxi. It also was gorgeous in the pub. Lots of food for breakfast, which was appetising to satisfy everyone.

The Hotel was comfortable, clean and friendly. The breakfasts were very good as were the meals we had in the restuarant. If we ever find ourselves in this area again, we would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel due to it's proximity to Otterburn tower where our friend was getting married. We got a great deal through Booked.net and our stay was fine. I would call this hotel "comfortable", in spite of slightly tired decor. If you want to stay in this area and can get a good deal then it will be fine for you.

The service was excellent and breakfast was well cooked. The room was clean and beds comfortable. I slept well.
The hotel is off the beaten track and is a bit shabby. Bath towels were a bit small and the shower had 2 heats, cold or boiling. It is a country house type hotel with all the problems of an old property.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location, nice bathroom and spacious bedroom
Noisey in the evenings. Damp walls, rain pouring in at one point made the rooms smell foisty. Furniture could do with being updated

I adored the rustic-chic decor with exposed beams and mismatched chairs with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The beautiful gardens offered a peaceful retreat, and the accessible layout made it easy for me to navigate comfortably.
More seating options in the garden area would help.
